Mironekuton® is from Japan, which is only found in a single region in the northern prefecture of Honshu area in Japan. It is exceptionally rich in natural minerals and trace elements with 66 minerals.

Japanese Natural Deep Sea Mineral , Minerals for Aquariums (Made in Japan) (Mined in Japan)

Due to its manifold beneficial characteristics, it is highly popular with Japanese shrimp breeders and plant tank keepers, especially in combination with soil subtrates, as it significantly enhances the all-important microbiology (bacteria, accompanying fauna).

Mineral Stones are simply placed in a tank and serve as mineral depot for all the aquarium inhabitants. Alternatively, the stones can be put into the filtering tank or in the external filter.

Ingredients
Silicium dioxide 55%, Aluminum oxide 13%, Iron oxide 4.1%, Calcium oxide 3.6%, Magnesium oxide 1.6%, Sulphur 1.1%, Potassium 0.47%, Titanium oxide 0.16%, Phosphorus oxide 0.07%, Cobalt oxide 0.06%, Sodium oxide 0.05%, Manganese oxide 0.04%, pH 7.4

Application
Mineral depot for shrimp breeding: creates the most favourable conditions for good bacteria (in the ground) that support plant roots and provide important food for baby shrimplets and other small organisms.

Stabilizes the pH value for water: prevents dangerous pH plunges. It sustains total hardness (GH), improves the water quality for better plant growth and root formation, enhancing photosynthesis and the formation of oxygen. It absorbs noxious substances, makes the water crystal clear and removes odours.
Dosage
Approx. 100 - 150 grams of Mironekuton® Mineral Stone to 10 litres of tank water.
The stones give off their minerals far more slowly than the powders.
Secrets of Mironekuton® Properties
Picture

The source of Mironekuton® is a soft sandy rock that is mined and then pulverized. When enlarged through a microscope, you will see an amazing view of fossiled remains of ancient marine microorganism.
The highly porous particles have countless porous holes averaging only 50 nano meters in diameters.  This micropore creates an excellent substance absorbing properties for our Mironekuton®.
